Force Engineering and Testing is a very unique engineering and architectural firm that has been in business since 2001. Our approach is simple, we go the extra mile to provide design and testing services for a competitive price that will give the client the most value for their dollar. This philosophy is applied to everything we do from providing a new 65.000 SF manufacturing facility in Tuscon, Arizona to conducting performance testing for a new garage door that is being introduced to the building construction industry.
Our uniqueness comes from our diverse background in the manufactruing and fabrication of metal building systems and light gauge metal roofing products (metal building components). This experience has evolved into the development of a design and testing firm that can take virtually any building product, bring it through the testing protocols, and fully integrate it into the International Building Code Approval Process (IBC). Force Engineering & T esting helps metal building manufacturers and metal component manufacturers (metal roofing) achieve their qualifications for a variety of criteria, including Texas Department of Insurance (TDI – formed metal panel product evaluation). This ability comes from our unique staff members that have done product development, manufacturing, and design. We deal with building code standards every day and understand what is needed by the design professionals to use that building product effectively in his/her design. We also understand the full integration of building components into our own design projects due to our day to day testing of these products in our on-site laboratory. If we are not totally confident in our design solution, we will build our own mock-up and test them in our test lab facility.

Drafting metal roof systems, wall systems, truss packages, and self-storage facilities requires a combination of expertise in structural engineering, architectural design, and practical construction knowledge. Force Engineering and Testing's extensive experience in these areas means we have developed a deep understanding of the specific challenges and requirements associated with each type of project. Our nationwide reach proves we have the capacity to handle projects of varying scales and complexities across different regions of the United States.
Testing
Metal component testing is a crucial aspect of ensuring the quality, reliability, and safety of metal structures and components that make them. Our testing includes Material testing, weld testing, ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing, and magnetic particle testing, corrosion testing, salt spray testing, humidity testing, and electrochemical testing. Fatigue testing: Evaluating the durability and endurance of metal components by subjecting them to repeated cyclic loading to simulate real-world operating conditions. Fracture toughness testing: Assessing the ability of metal components to resist crack propagation and fracture under loading, typically using methods such as impact testing.
